Melissa C. Weiss Award for Leadership Excellence
Presented annually to a member of IRHA in recognition of valuable contributions to the Inter-Residential Housing Association of Fairfield University, for demonstrating a strong commitment to the organization and a unique desire to continually enhance their leadership potential.
Unsung Hero Award
Presented annually to a member of IRHA in recognition of valuable contributions to the Inter-Residential Housing Association of Fairfield University, for demonstrating a strong commitment to the organization and for continually going above and beyond what is normally and reasonably expected.
Distinguished Service Award
This award is presented when deemed appropriate to a member of IRHA in recognition of their many valuable contributions to the Inter-Residential Housing Association of Fairfield University, for demonstrating an outstanding level of commitment to the organization, for their dedication to the success of the organization as a whole, and for using their exceptional leadership qualities for the benefit of the organization.
Member of the Year
Presented annually to a member of IRHA who has demonstrated a strong commitment the organization and who continually exhibits outstanding leadership and achievement.
RCC of the Year
Presented annually to the Residential Community Council that has demonstrated a strong commitment to IRHA and has been an exemplary part of the organization throughout the year. The RCC of the Year is chosen based on a variety of criteria such as their advocacy projects, programming initiatives and their ability to build community both among the council and their community.
Program of the Year
Presented annually to the Residential Community Council that has successfully planned and executed a program that exceeds all expectations. The Program of the Year typically exemplifies the goals of this organization and portrays a commendable dedication to service.
Community Pride Week
Each year, IRHA sponsors a week of community building events know as "Community Pride Week." The Residential Community Council that receives the most points throughout the week is declared the winner.
